The UETTDRMP007 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel is the NEW updated version of this course, replacing the superseded UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel from 2021.
Introduction
Participants who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. This course provides participants with the confidence and competence required to perform CPR on an unconscious casualty, in the context of those having suffered electrocution.
Suitable for electricians needing a CPR/LVR certificate for work.
Pre-course study
After you enrol there is online learner guide reading, videos to watch and a quiz. This can be done any time prior to your class. It is a pre-requisite the tasks are completed before your class.
General Course outline
- HLTAID009 – CPR is included with all course content
- Inspection or rescue equipment
- Assessing hazards to rescuer, victim, and others
- Isolation procedures
- Maintaining SAD appropriate to rescue from a live LV panel
- Removing victim to safe location/place of safety
Practical Demonstration
It is a requirement of this course that a practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the floor. We implement COVID standards based on State govt requirements, these are subject to change regularly.
Re certification requirements
It is recommended UETDRMP007 is refreshed every 12 months. This is a requirement for many trades such as electrical trades. If you are in doubt, contact your professional body or employer for advice.
